NTS plan for the 2025-2026 academic year
The Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is a collegial advisory and expert body that coordinates the scientific and scientific-technical activities of the Institute. Its main tasks include identifying priority areas of research, coordinating scientific departments, evaluating research and project results, and developing recommendations for improving scientific activities at the Institute.
Functions of the STC
1. Coordinates the work of scientific departments in carrying out comprehensive research, grants, and innovative projects.
2. Determines the prospects for the development of scientific areas, taking into account their relevance to the profile of specialist training.
3. Analyzes and evaluates the results of scientific research, reviews work reports and projects.
4. Participates in decisions on the creation and operation of problem-oriented laboratories, reviews monographs prepared for publication.
5. Develops recommendations for improving the management of scientific activities at the university.
The Scientific and Technical Council is a permanent body under the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations and operates under his leadership. The Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations is the chair of the Scientific and Technical Council. The Scientific and Technical Council includes leading scientists from the Institute, as well as representatives of external organizations.
