The Ekibastuz Engineering and Technical Institute named after Academician K. Satbayev systematically develops research activities and creates conditions for active participation of students, young scientists, and faculty members in scientific work. The institute’s scientific events aim to advance modern research, promote knowledge exchange, and strengthen academic cooperation.
Each year, the institute hosts the international scientific-practical conference “Improving the Quality of Education, Modern Innovations in Science and Industry”, organized in collaboration with the Prokopyevsk branch of the Kuzbass State Technical University. This conference brings together researchers, experts, and representatives of educational and industrial organizations from various countries. It serves as an important platform for discussing current issues in engineering, technology, economics, information technology, and related fields.
In addition, the institute regularly conducts seminars, round tables, scientific forums, and student research activities. These initiatives contribute to developing the scientific potential of learners, supporting innovative projects, introducing best practices, and strengthening partnerships with collaborating organizations.
The scientific events of the EITI named after Academician K. Satbayev play a significant role in shaping professional competencies, expanding research horizons, and integrating education with the practical needs of the industry.
On May 15, 2025, the international scientific and practical conference “Improving the Quality of Education, Modern Innovations in Science and Production” was held, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the first rector of the Ekibastuz Engineering and Technical Institute named after Academician K. Satpayev — President, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Marat Pazylovich Mardenov.
The conference was organized by the Ekibastuz Engineering and Technical Institute named after Academician K. Satpayev, Republic of Kazakhstan, and the branch of T.F. Gorbachev Kuzbass State
Technical University in Prokopyevsk, Russian Federation.
The conference consisted of two parts: a plenary session in the format of a discussion and work in seven thematic sections.
Speakers at the plenary session included:
– with an opening address, Rector of the EITI named after Academician K. Satpayev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor D.M. Sivarakhsha;
– with a welcoming speech, Director of the Prokopyevsk branch of KuzSTU named after T.F. Gorbachev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor E.Yu. Pudov (via video message);– with presentations: Chairman of the Ekibastuz City Maslikhat N.K. Makrayev; Senior Lecturer of the ITMA Department of the KuzSTU branch named after T.F. Gorbachev, A.V.
