The second stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad was held at Satbayev University on April 27-28, 2023. Islam Maratovich Imashev, a student in the Mining Department, took first place.

On May 24, 2024, the 2nd stage of the Republican research work in the Mining program for 2023-2024 was held at the NAO "Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov". A student of the Mining Department, Khashkhynbay M.T., was awarded a Ministerial diploma of the 3rd degree.

The second stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad was held at Satbayev University on April 25-26, 2025. Mukatay Maksat, a student from the Mining Department, took second place.

The results of the Republican scientific research work in the "Mining" section on the topic "Carrying the development of a career in mining" were held in Ust-Kamenogorsk at the D. Serikbaev East Kazakhstan Technical University. A student of the Mining Department, Rustam Abilda, was awarded a 2nd-degree Ministerial Diploma.

On March 16, 2025, the Pavlodar Region Open AIGA Grappling Championship was held. Mining Engineering student Ismail Kunaev took first place.
