Welcome Day is one of the traditional Kazakh holidays. This holiday is celebrated mainly in the first days of spring, that is, on March 14th. A meeting day is a day when people ask each other about their well-being and meet with their loved ones. It is especially held in villages with a large feast. The main purpose of this day is to strengthen the ties between people, on the eve of the New Year, to wish each other joy, kindness and say kind words.
