On May 15, 2025, together with the Kuzbass Technical University named after G.F.Gorbachev, a branch of KuzSTU in Prokopyevsk, an international scientific and practical conference "Improving the quality of education, modern innovations in science and production" was held, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the first rector of the Ekibastuz Engineering and Technical Institute named after K.Satpayev, President, Doctor of Physico-mathematical Sciences Professor Mardenov Marat Pazylovich.
