Our institute hosted a seminar on the topic "Сountering religious extremism and terrorism", organized jointly with the Center for analysis and development of interfaith relations in Ekibastuz. Within the framework of the event, students of the institute were met by the theologian of the information and explanatory Department Salmanov D. M., who discussed in detail the topical issues of prevention of radicalization and the formation of critical thinking among young people. Particular attention was paid to the issues of legal literacy, which are the main element of countering extremist sentiments. Also, during the seminar, ways to strengthen interfaith harmony and prevent religious conflicts were considered.
