The purpose of the educational program: Training of highly qualified competitive specialists who ensure the implementation of technological operations for automation and control of technological processes and production facilities related to the operation, design and implementation of equipment and computer technologies.
Distinctive Features of the Educational Program
The “Automation and Control” educational program has been developed based on current professional standards approved by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, as well as employers’ needs and Kazakhstan’s strategic documents on industrial and innovative development. This ensures compliance with modern labor market demands and the priorities of industrial digital transformation.
The program is aimed at training a new generation of engineers capable of designing, implementing, and operating automated process control systems (APCS), robotic complexes (RC), and intelligent industrial control systems.
The educational process is strongly practice-oriented and implemented through industrial internships and placements at machine-building, energy, and mining-metallurgical enterprises in the region. During training, SCADA systems, virtual simulators, modern laboratories in automation and electronics, and elements of project-based learning are actively used, fostering the development of engineering thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
