Educational and methodological support

Educational and methodological work at the Department of Economics and Management is based on the tasks of the standard curriculum for the training of economists and managers in the specialties - 5B050600 - "Economics" (bachelor's degree) and 5B050700 - "Management" (bachelor's degree).
Specialties 5B050600 - "Economics" and 5B050700 - "Management" are provided by the SES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, standard programs of disciplines and RUPees for 100%, BLUNT in accordance with the SES of the Republic of Kazakhstan 5.04.019 - 2011 "Higher education. Basic provisions" and the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 425 dated 05.07.2016, TUPov, Appendix No. 74.75
Working curricula of specialties are compiled on the basis of standard plans and approved by the Academic Council of the Institute.
The curricula are developed using a modular system designed to ensure a unified approach in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the construction of educational programs. The modular system allows for improving the quality of education, student mobility, international recognition of the diploma and continuity of all levels of education.
Catalogues of elective disciplines have been developed for the curricula - elective component, according to which students have the opportunity to choose a discipline and a teacher. For elective disciplines, curricula have been developed that correspond to the bachelor's degree profile.
All disciplines of the specialty are provided with standard or training programs, working training programs (syllabus), educational and methodological complexes. Students use the textbooks developed by the teachers of the department in Russian and the state languages, including in electronic form.
Every year, educational and methodological complexes of disciplines, programs and methodological recommendations for all types of practices are processed and re-approved.
The relevance, novelty and content of lectures, laboratory and practical classes, SRSP, SRS meets the requirements of conducting classes on credit technology training.
In accordance with the curricula, various types of practices are conducted. The bases of practices are the leading enterprises and banks of the city.
For students studying under the dual system, tripartite agreements have been concluded with enterprises "On the joint provision of educational services".
Agreements on scientific and technical cooperation for the joint provision of educational services have been concluded with: the State Institution "Construction Department" of the Akimat of Ekibastuz, the construction organization "Vershina" LLP, JSC Eurasian Energy Corporation "Razrez Vostochny", LLP "Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov" and other organizations, which allows students to provide the specialty "Construction" with practice bases in the region.
In the process of learning according to the educational program, modern pedagogical methods are used, in particular, research and project methods, methods of problem presentation, brainstorming, case stages. Thus, the disciplines of the specialty "Economics", in addition to gaining knowledge in the professional field, contribute to the development of students' creative potential. To do this, all the means and methods used in the educational process are aimed at ensuring that every student, regardless of the degree of giftedness, can learn to independently find ways to creatively solve a professional problem. The motivation of students is to stimulate and encourage all creative manifestations of the student's personality, help and support the first independent author's decisions. In the form of motivation, students participate in student work competitions, conferences, Olympiads. Some disciplines have all the possibilities for the development of creative potential. For example, "Data analysis and forecasting of the economy", "Crisis management", etc.
The effectiveness of the activity and the analysis of the implementation of measures for the development of the educational program is reflected in the annual reports on the main types of activities: UMR, research, educational work, etc. are considered at meetings of the department, Faculty Councils and the Academic Council of the EITI.
The indicators of the effectiveness of achieving the goals of the educational program are the positive results of external and internal monitoring and audit:
- decision of the State Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on certification of the specialty in 2013;
- decisions of annual scheduled inspections organized by the KKSON of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2007 to 2014.
- high degree of satisfaction of employers with the quality of training of graduates of the program (based on the results of a survey of employers);
- the indicator of the average score of the VAUD, which in 2015 amounted to 89.5 points;
- consistently high academic performance of students according to the results of the sessions, the state examination in the specialty and the defense of theses (during the reporting period, the academic performance indicator was 100%, the rate of passing the State exam in the specialty - 100%, the quality indicator of the defense of theses - 100%).
- a high degree of student satisfaction with the quality of education.
