On October 28, 2025, a basketball tournament dedicated to Republic Day was held in the village of Shiderty. Four teams participated in the competition, and the games were played in a round-robin system. The national team of the first year of the EITI reached the finals, where they met with the village team and won. The best player of the tournament was Yuri Urban, a student of the BOP-11 group. Artur Randey, a student of the BM-11 group, was recognized as the best defender, and Almas Abilda, a student of the BTM—11k group, was recognized as the best striker.
