The Central Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship (JJIF) was held in Bishkek from 1 to 3 May. As a member of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ismail Kunaev, a 2nd-year student of the Mining Department, won a bronze medal in the Adult category (up to 62 kg).
The international tournament under the auspices of JJIF brought together the strongest wrestlers in the region and became a key stage in the selection for the Asian and world championships.
